Almond Rice

Yield: 4 servings

Leftover rice from a meal? Give it a twist with this Almond-infused recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 tablespoon almond liqueur
  • 2 cups rice, cooked
  • 1/4 cup green onions, minced

Directions

  1. Heat oil in skillet; add almonds and saute just until golden. Add liqueur and rice to skillet. Stir until heated. Add onions; stir to mix well.
