Apple Crumb

Yield: Makes 6 Servings


  • 6 medium apples, peeled and cored
  • 1-1/2 cups dry rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar, unpacked
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tbsps. unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tbsps. orange juice


  1. Preheat over to 375F. Lightly butter an 8-inch baking pan. Slice apples and place in pan. In a bowl, blend oats, brown sugar, flour, butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg until it forms a course meal. Crumble the mixture evenly over apple slices and sprinkle with the juice. Bake for 35 minutes.
