Simple Beef and Tomato Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups diced tomato
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 cups undrained, canned, kidney beans

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef, onion and celery; drain excess fat. Stir in the remaining ingredients except beans. Simmer covered for 35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in beans, and heat through.
